Description

The American Persimmon tree can obtain heights from 30-80 feet, but can be managed smaller. These tree’s are Dioecious so you must have both male and female trees to produce fruit but most set seedless fruit without pollination. Fruiting begins around six years, the fruit is round to oval, and orange/yellow in color. The fruit is very astringent until fully ripe when the flavor is much improved.
